We drove through the night Friday night and stopped at a KOA campground in Valdosta, GA. Everyone was ready for a break from being on the road and being in the RV. We had some lunch (foot-long hot dogs and brats) and then hit the pool. It was so refreshing after being in the hot humid Georgia weather. The kids all had so much fun. Even Charlie was splashing and relaxing in the water. The highlights were the rides and flips from "The Dads." We had a late dinner and showers before getting to bed early.
This morning we got up early and broke camp. The kids still don't know where we are heading, and asked if we could go to another campground cause there wasn't too much to do there and they didn't want to spend two weeks there. The big discussion today is the kids coming up with ideas of where to go. So far I heard the beach, Canada, Mexico, Texas and Maine. Won't they be surprised! Right now they are working on homework and doing puzzles. We have about a three hour drive this morning before we get to our first real destination. Today's forecast: 40% chance of rain, temp 89 degrees.
What do you attach a pacifier leash to on a naked baby? Looks like you guys are having a great time!
