Disney World at Last!

I am not sure what was harder, driving all those miles or not being able to tell the boys where we were headed.  After a wrong turn on the freeway (GPS is not always right or maybe I entered the address in wrong) we finally made it to the entrance.

Dewy stopped and annoced that he was sicking of driving and that we will be camping right here for the night.  The boys looked around and thought it might be alright.  I don't remember who, but one of the boys asked where the fire pit was.  I said I didn't think they had any firepits but that it was ok.  As they scanned the area their faces started to light up as they figured out that Disney World was the campground.  At this point the RV erupted into yelling, laughing, high fiving, and even some farting.   After we checked into our hotel and unloaded the RV, it was off to the Magic Kingdom! With the extended Magic Hours the park was open to midnight.

The park is all decked out for Halloween. There are Mickey pumpkins, scarecrows, and leaves everywhere. It seems really funny thinking about fall when it was 90 degrees out! The first thing we did...EAT of course!  We had 3:30PM reservations at the Crystal Palace.  It is an all you can eat buffet with Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, and Eeyore walking around signing autographs and posing for pictures.  After eating we left for the future, Tomorrow Land.

All the boys loved the rides, and we hit everyone of them. The Buzz Lightyear ride was the favorite, and we all went on twice to see who could get the highest score.

A storm blew in so that was the perfect time to grab a snack. Smoothies and ice cream make the rain not seem so bad. We hung out in a gift shop waiting for the storm to pass. It's amazing how many times you can say "no we aren't going to buy that" and "put that down before you break it" in a half hour. The rain let up and we headed over to Fantasy Land to ride the Teacups. Another favorite, so we rode it a second time.

We split up at that point. The Wiliniski's headed back to the hotel for the evening and the we decided to stay a little longer. I am not sure if the crowd tonight was typical for Magic Hours or if the rain made people leave, but we didn't wait in line for anything. We hit the Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Carribean, Aladdin's carpets, the Jungle Cruise and the Swiss Family treehouse before heading back for the night. Marc and Jake didn't want to leave, but when we told them we would be back there on Wednesday they were okay with leaving.

Tomorrow it is off to Animal Kingdom and Downtown Disney. Last forcast I heard was 30% chance of rain, highs in the upper 80's/lower 90's. Sounds like we will be adding in some time for the pool tomorrow!
